Our Grandson is very afraid of the large rain stick we have in our home-So we were not sure how he would react to this small stick-we were glad to see that he did not react negatively to this small stick-he watched as the tiny balls floated down the tube-We gave this to him at Christmas, considering all the activity in the house opening presents he was not afraid of the sound or the sight of the balls floating down the tube--Christmas was merrier thanks to your toy

Love the rain stick it is cool and i love the sound. my neohew loves it and pylays with it al the time makes him relaxed my nieces love it to just to play with.

This is anything but soothing. It is a very loud unsettling crackling metallic sound that terrified our son who is sensitive to loud sounds. There needs to be a warning on the product!

This was a gift I purchased for a small friend who has autism. I understand he loves it. Had children all around him as he played with it in the store mesmerized. He really loves the sounds it makes.

The soothing effect of the rain falling, and for my son with Autism PDD Nos and Epielepsy/Seizures... the vibrations of holding the item with both of his hands as the rain falls.. it is so wonderful. It does create a calming effect for my son. Now when he wakes up in the mornings, he will turn it over to hear the rain. This helps him ease into the day after waking up. What a wonderful product! Thank you!
