My 4 year old with ASD really goes to town on this. When she starts humming I give this to her as a deterrant. It is also good for when she chews on her fingers. I ordered two of them.

My high functioning autistic daughter does great when she has her chewy. It is very durable and I keep one in my purse, send one in her backpack for school and keep one at home. This has just enough softness to be flexible but still very strong to her biting and chewing.
