My 8 year old son bit it in half after less than a minute of wearing it. Great idea but way too flimsy for older children.

My 7 year old Aspie son loves this chewelry! We purchased an assortment of masculine colors, and it just looks like a cool surfer necklace. Great hands-free stimulation that helps him focus on homework, keep his hands & body to himself when in close proximity to people & things... and no more chewed up shirt collars! Good for manual fidgeting as well. He is pretty rough on them and after a few months chewed one up with intense chewing - but the rest are intact, which is a great accomplishment.
