The Sleep Tight™ weighted blanket is so calming and relaxing. Great to help your child fall asleep and stay asleep. This weighted blanket is designed for adults and children three and up.
Calming down enough to go to sleep is difficult for many people. Swaddling, which is gentle pressure from a blanket, has been used to help soothe babies since ancient times. The gentle pressure of The Sleep Tight™ provides similar calming effects as swaddling.
The Sleep Tight™ Patent Pending design has a curved cut at the top of the blanket allowing it to contour the shoulders and under the chin for a great fit and maximum comfort. Note Please never place the blanket over the face.
In order to concentrate the weight of the blanket on the body, The Sleep Tight™ is smaller than a regular blanket so that the weight is distributed across the body rather than the bed. Soft corduroy fabric further encourages calming down for a good night sleep.
Unlike other weighted products worn during the day that have wearing time limitations, one can use the Sleep Tight™ all night or may be taken off after the person has fallen asleep. Since a weighted blanket provides additional warmth, you may want to keep room temperatures at level that prevents wearers from overheating.

Love this blanket and my child's OT loves it too. We call it the magic cape. The cut out makes it easy to drape this over him in a range of body positions. He loves the input on his shoulders. He doesn't want to sleep with it yet, but we are working up to it. In the meantime I sleep with it and it does wonders for my fibromyalgia sleep problems and nighttime pain. I'm saving for my own adult size.
