Weighted pencils help build hand strength and work wonderfully well to help make writing legible. Unlike other weighted pencils these are designed with a 2mm size pencil lead that does not break easily while the student is using it, thus reducing frustration.

Ordered for a 66yo male with right hand tremor.The weighted pencil did somewhat help in reducing the hand tremor, however the finger gripper is too far up away from the tip that reduces controlled movement for effective smooth writing. This is a high quality expensive pencil so it seems like the company should have tested it to make the metal part under the finger gripper adjustable to make it more usable. Some more weight may also help decrease the tremor more.
