I have two high-functioning boys on the spectrum, and they each have their own sensory issues. One is a "tactile seeker" and the other likes to chew on stuff. This assortment was good because they could each choose the things that most appealed to them, but there wasn't anything really for the chewer (he chose the inside out ball and didn't mind when I cringed as he put that dirty ball in his mouth). I would be surprised if anyone finds the moody face useful, and the stretchy frogs and sticky starfish just seem like toys rather than durable things to use for any length of time.
